Art.1 - ORGANIZATION
1.1 - Organizing Committee
The UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS and MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI are organized by A.S.D. Pedali di Marca, in collaboration with the Municipality of Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters.
1.2 - Reference regulations
The MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI will take place in compliance with these regulations, the official program of the event, and the decisions taken by the Commissaires Panel and the Organizing Committee.
For anything not covered by these regulations, the rules and general regulations of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the Federazione Ciclistica Italiana (FCI) shall apply.
1.3 - Date and place of the event
The UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS and MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI will be held on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2026, with start and finish in Fiera di Primiero (TN).
1.4 - Starting order
08.30 - Start UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
09.00 - Start MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI – MARATHON course (Amateurs)
09.30 - Start MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI – CLASSIC course (Elite, U23, Juniors, and Amateurs).
Access to the start grids is permitted 20 minutes before the scheduled start time for the respective group (example: start at 08:30 – access to grid at 08:10).
Starting from a grid different from the one assigned, without written authorization from the Organizing Committee, will result in automatic exclusion from the race classification.
Art.2 – PARTICIPATION
2.1 - MYTHOS - PRIMIERO DOLOMITI - MARATHON race
Participation in the UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS is open to U.C.I./F.C.I. license holders for the year 2026.
Categories: M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8, M9, MW1, MW2, MW3
2.2 - MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI – MARATHON Course
Participation is open to U.C.I./F.C.I. license holders for 2026 and members of bodies affiliated with the F.C.I.
Categories: EliteSport, M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7+ MW, SW (for affiliated bodies, corresponding age categories), Hobby.
Participation for non-licensed riders (Hobby – adults, male and female) is allowed only with the issue of a daily license and upon presentation of a valid competitive medical certificate.
The daily license must be requested exclusively from PEDALI DI MARCA at trevisomtb@gmail.com at an additional cost of €25.00 (including €10 for administrative costs).
2.3 - MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI – CLASSIC Course
Participation is open to F.C.I. license holders for 2026 and members of bodies affiliated with the F.C.I.
Participation for non-licensed riders (Hobby – adults, male and female) is allowed only with the issue of a daily license and upon presentation of a valid competitive medical certificate.
Categories: Elite, Under 23, Junior M/F, EliteSport, M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7+ MW, SW (for affiliated bodies, corresponding age categories), Hobby
2.4 - eBIKE Category
Participation with e-bikes is not allowed.
2.5- Youth categories
Participation is not allowed for Youth categories: Giovanissimi, Esordienti, Allievi.
2.6- Subdivision into categories
As per UCI Regulations and F.C.I. 2026 Off-Road Rules.
Art.3 – REGISTRATION
3.1 - Registration opening
Registrations open on 01.10.2025 and close on 10.09.2026, unless entries sell out earlier.
3.2 - Number of Entries
Maximum number of participants: 1,200.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to increase this number in favor of Open athletes and invited wild cards.
The Organizing Committee may close registrations at any time, even before reaching the maximum number.
3.3 - Entry Fees
Entry fees are set as follows:
UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
From October 1 to October 31, 2025 (priority to Mythos 2025 participants and qualifying races)

On-site at number pick-up (including for previously registered but unpaid entries)

– Single fee for all courses, including all race services (course, medical and mechanical assistance, feed zones), race pack, race kit, and pasta party.
In case of cancellation or suspension of the event due to force majeure not attributable to the organizer, the participation fee will. not be refunded.
3.4 – Additional EVODATA Services (Optional)
- GPS live tracking service: an optional additional service available at registration through the EVODATA app, allowing real-time tracking (for safety purposes and to allow family members to follow participants). Service cost to be requested directly from EVODATA (not included in entry fee).
3.5 - Registration Method
Registration must be done via www.mythosprimiero.com under “Online Registration,” which links to the automatic registration system.
3.6 - Fattore K
F.C.I.-affiliated teams must register their athletes through the official F.C.I. online system using the pre-defined race codes. Missing Fattore K registration will result in exclusion from the race.
3.7 - Participant Substitution
A participant may be replaced only after completing their registration, by transferring it to another rider and notifying mythos@evodata.it. A €10.00 administrative fee will be charged. Deadline: 31.08.2026.
3.8 - Withdrawal
No refund will be issued by the organizing committee. A partial refund may be requested from Evodata, as the entry fee includes insurance coverage in case of justified non-participation.
3.9 - Checks and Complaints
The lists of registered participants will be periodically updated on the website www.mythosprimiero.com. For checks and claims, you may also contact mythos@evodata.it .
3.10 - Course Change
It is possible to change the selected course, subject to bib availability. A €10.00 administrative fee will be charged. Deadline: 31.08.2026.
3.11 - License Check
License verification for competitive categories will be carried out by the Commissaires Panel. For amateur categories, the Organizing Committee is responsible.
Verification will take place at the race office (Vallombrosa Gym) during:
Saturday 12.09.2026 – 15:00 to 18:00
Sunday 13.09.2026 – 06:30 to 09:30
The checking of athletes’ cards competitive categories (Elite and Under 23, Juniors) will take place only on Friday 12/09/2025 from 15:00 to 18:00.
Art.4 – RACE
4.1 - Course
UCI MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS: Masters – distance 82.1 km / elevation gain 3,400 m
MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI MARATHON course: Masters/Hobby – distance 82.1 km / elevation gain 3,400 m
MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI CLASSIC course: Elite / Under 23 / Juniors / Masters / Hobby – distance 56.3 km / elevation gain 2,110 m
4.2 - Starting grids
The start grids for the UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS will be defined by category.
For the other races, grids will be assigned according to the chronological order of registration.
Riders who start from the wrong grid will be disqualified.
4.3 - Feed Zones
Feed/refreshment points will be positioned along the course. Their number and locations will be published on www.mythosprimiero.com.
4.4 - Timing
Timing will be managed by EVODATA.
4.5 - Checkpoints
Checks will be placed at the start, at the finish, and at intermediate points along the course. Failure to pass even one check will result in exclusion from the results.
4.6 - Time Limits
The following time gates will be in place on the courses:
MALGA CES – 13:30 (Marathon – Classic)
DISMONI – 16:00 (Marathon km 67.6 – Classic km 41.9)
Riders who pass the designated points beyond the time limit will have their race number withdrawn and must leave the course.>
The finish line will close at 17:30. Maximum allowed times:
MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI MARATHON course – max 9 hours 00 minutes
MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI CLASSIC course – max 8 hours 00 minutes
4.7 - Mechanical assistance
A mechanical assistance service will be available in the start/finish area.
Designated, clearly marked and numbered zones for feeding and authorized technical assistance managed by the teams will be set up along the course. These areas will be closed to the public and accessible only to accredited personnel.
4.8 - Authorized technical assistance
Authorized in-race technical assistance includes the repair or replacement of any bicycle component except the frame. Changing bicycles is prohibited, and the rider must cross the finish line with the same assigned number plate.
Assistance may only be carried out in the designated zones, which must have a service box off the race course so as not to impede riders’ passage. Tools and spare parts must be placed within these zones.
Repairs and replacement of some bicycle parts may be carried out by the rider, a teammate, the team mechanic, or by any neutral support present.
Beyond the designated zones, assistance is allowed only between riders of the same team or delegation. Riders may carry tools and spare parts provided they do not pose a danger to themselves or others.
Feeding is permitted exclusively in areas marked as feed/assistance zones.
4.9 - Commissaires Panel
The Commissaires Panel for the UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS and MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI will be announced in the coming months.
Art.5 - RESULTS AND AWARDS
5.1 - Inclusion in the Results
All athletes—competitive and amateur—who complete the full course within the set time limits, display their handlebar and back numbers legibly, and correctly install the timing chip will be included in the various rankings.
Crossing the finish line without having covered your assigned race course will be reported to the jury, which will take appropriate measures.
Any rider who is slower than the set time at a time gate will be taken out of the race, have their race number withdrawn, and must immediately leave the course. Riders withdrawn under this rule will be listed on the results sheet according to the point at which they left the course.
5.2 - Individual rankings
Individual rankings will be based on elapsed time, not on finishing order. Rankings will be published in the press and on www.mythosprimiero.com
5.3 - Awards – UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The top 3 overall finishers in each category (M/F) will be awarded the rainbow jersey, the UCI medal, and prizes in kind.
5.4 - Awards – Masters, MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI MARATHON course
The top 3 finishers in each M/F category will receive prizes in kind. These prizes will be available for collection from 15:00 to 18:00 at the Race Office inside the Vallombrosa Gym.
5.5 - Awards – Competitive Athletes, MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI CLASSIC course
The top 5 finishers in each M/F Elite, Under 23, and Junior category will receive prize money as per F.C.I. schedule, plus prizes in kind. These prizes will be available for collection from 15:00 to 18:00 at the Race Office inside the Vallombrosa Gym.
5.6 - Awards – Masters, MYTHOS – PRIMIERO DOLOMITI CLASSIC course
The top 3 finishers in every other M/F category will receive prizes in kind. These prizes will be available for collection from 15:00 to 18:00 at the Race Office inside the Vallombrosa Gym.
5.7 - Commemorative Medal
MYTHOS PRIMIERO DOLOMITI has minted a commemorative medal that will be presented to all athletes as soon as they cross the finish line. It is a special keepsake for its artistic value and the symbolic meaning it represents.
5.8 – Souvenir medal
MYTHOS PRIMIERO DOLOMITI has had a commemorative medal of the event minted, which will be given to all athletes as soon as they cross the finish line. It will be a unique object for participants to treasure, both for its artistic value and the symbolic achievement it represents.
5.9 - Prize Collection
The Flower Ceremony will take place in the finish area, while the awards ceremony will be held in Parco di Vallombrosa.
Prize money and prizes in kind will be delivered to entitled recipients at the race office immediately after the awards ceremony and, in any case, from 15:00 onwards. All prizes, net of withholding tax under Italian tax law, will be paid only and exclusively to the entitled recipients upon presentation of an identity document. Proxies or postal shipment requests will not be accepted.
Uncollected prizes will be donated to charity.
5.10 - Certificate of Participation
A personalized certificate of participation may be downloaded from the website of the timing service provider. The certificate will be available only to athletes who finished and are officially classified.
Art.6 - SAFETY MEASURES
6.1 - General rules
Slower riders must allow faster riders to overtake. Blind sections must be ridden at an appropriate speed. On descents, riders must never exceed their technical limits. Any mechanical breakdowns must be repaired off the race course. Anyone failing to comply with these rules will be immediately disqualified.
6.2 - MTB type
The UCI MASTERS MARATHON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS and MYTHOS PRIMIERO DOLOMITI are mountain bike races, and participation is allowed only with suitable bicycles in proper working condition.
6.3 - Helmets
Wearing and properly fastening a helmet approved for cycling activities is mandatory.
6.4 - Medical Assistance
Medical assistance will include ambulances with doctors and nurses, fixed First Aid points (one permanent in the finish area), mobile service with motorbikes and specialized personnel, and fixed and mobile radio rescue points.
6.5 - “Broom Wagon” Service
Withdrawn riders or those unable to return to the start will be assisted and transported to the finish by service vehicles as soon as logistically possible.
6.6 - Insurance
The event is insured as per F.C.I. regulations.
6.7- Course Signage
The course will be preliminarily marked starting from August. Certain sections are closed to the public and will be open only on race day (detours will be clearly marked). Difficult sections such as technical or steep descents, curves, feed zones, etc. will be indicated with clearly visible signs. Kilometer markings will be posted in decreasing order (km remaining to the finish), and the main climbs will have a sign at the beginning indicating their characteristics (elevation gain, gradient, length).
Final and complete course marking will be carried out starting from the Monday prior to the race.
6.8 - Race Signaling
Lead motorbike with “Start of Race” sign and final motorbike with “End of Race” sign will be present. The race will take place partly on public and private roads; therefore, all participants must observe the Highway Code and comply with UCI and FCI regulations.
6.9 - Race Vehicles
The only vehicles authorized to follow the race are those (properly identified) of the organizers and commissaires. Private vehicles are not allowed to follow the race.
6.10 - Environmental Protection
Feeding is allowed exclusively in areas marked as feed/assistance zones.
It is strictly forbidden to litter along the course; waste must be disposed of in the bins located after the feed zones. Leaving the marked course is also prohibited. Any violation will result in immediate disqualification.
